We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, childhood development, and classroom management to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children. Requirements:
Must be at least 18 and with a high school diploma. Has to be CPR/First aid certified or must be willing to become CPR/first aid certified.
Have to pass a background check/fingerprinting.
Must 1 clock hour each month you are working in the center and have to pass the safe sleep training before starting.
-Willing to expand their knowledge about childcare by changing and growing as a teacher to fit the needs of the each child and the ever changing childcare environment.
-Has to be able to create a safe and nurturing childcare environment for multicultural children ranging from newborn-school age while collaborating with multiple other caregivers. Also, must create a fun and interactive environment planning activities that both entertain and stimulate the children.
-Must be able to clearly communicate and coordinate with parents to understand each child's specific needs and desires. Also, must effectively interact with infants and toddlers working towards mop developmental appropriate milestones.
-Must be able to maintain a clean environment while changing diapers daily, potty training children, and regularly sanitizing surfaces. Ensure the daycare facility is clean, organized, and meets all safety regulations
-Administering meals and any medications specific to child's needs.
-Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive, holistic learning environment and implement developmental appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and nap time. While observing and assess children's behavior, development, and learning
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for young children
- Strong classroom management skills
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices
